The OG 1870 was put back together by the people who live here. That is not a marketing line — it is how the building got finished.
Built by the Neighbours
Local tradespeople, retirees and neighbours turned up through the restoration to build, clean and get the doors open.
The Shack Opened First
Tuck Yeah! Creamery Co. opened ahead of the restaurant, and introduced the town to the property while the rest was finished.
A Reason to Come Downtown
The aim was never just a restaurant — it was to make downtown Grand Valley somewhere worth the drive.
